Who can sign up for this study? Families with two siblings (brothers or sisters) with type 1 diabetes.  For these families, at minimum, we would like to enroll both of the siblings with diabetes.  If possible, we would also like to enroll one or both of the biological parents, and up to 2 other siblings without type 1 diabetes.

What is this study about? The Type 1 Diabetes Genetics Consortium is trying to understand the genetic causes of Type 1 Diabetes. 

What will happen in this study? Eligible family members will be asked to have a small amount of blood drawn and to answer a few questions about their health. 

Reimbursement: There will be a $25.00 reimbursement for each eligible participating family member.
