The Diabetes Teaching Center at UCSF is hosting a Diabetes Patient Symposium. The Symposium is intended to bring the diabetes community up to speed with the latest in diabetes technology and treatment.

Highlights include:

  • new technologies for measuring blood glucose
  • latest insulin delivery devices
  • alternative medicine in diabetes treatment
  • type 1 diabetes prevention
  • beta cell and pancreas transplant.
