Dr. Mark Anderson of the Joslin Diabetes Center and the Harvard Medical School has joined our faculty in the Diabetes Center at UCSF.

In the early 1990s, Dr. Anderson received his PhD in Immunology and his MD at the University of Chicago. He then moved to Boston where he became a star both as a clinical diabetologist and researcher interested in diabetes prevention. Dr. Anderson will be a tremendous asset to the Diabetes Center as we continue to strive to prevent and cure type 1 diabetes.
